Catahoula Java Co. – Returns & Refunds Policy
Effective Date: December 15,2025
At Catahoula Java Co., we stand behind the quality of our products while maintaining firm, enforceable policies designed to protect food safety, prevent fraud and abuse, and ensure fair and consistent treatment for all customers. By placing an order with Catahoula Java Co., you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Returns & Refunds Policy.
1. Merchandise Returns (Non-Food Items)
Non-food merchandise items may be returned within twenty (20) days of delivery, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

Items are new, unused, unwashed, and unaltered

All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact

Items show no signs of wear, damage, misuse, or modification

Customer must contact customer service Using the online Chat and obtain an return Authorization number and shipping label prior to any return. All returns without this number inside and outside the shipment will be returned to customer at customer expense.
Catahoula Java Co. reserves the right to inspect all returned merchandise and to deny any return that does not meet these conditions.
1.1 Customer-Initiated Returns (Change of Mind)

A twenty-five percent (25%) restocking and handling fee will be deducted from any approved refund

Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer
1.2 Company Error or Incorrect Items
If Catahoula Java Co. ships an incorrect item or an unopened incorrect product, a prepaid return label will be provided. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item, Catahoula Java Co. will issue a replacement or refund at its sole discretion.
2. Food & Consumable Products
Due to food safety regulations and health considerations, all food and consumable products are final sale.
Exceptions apply only in cases of:

Confirmed company shipping error
- Approved Returns Must be in Sealed, Unused condition. May not be damaged or open in any manner.
All claims must be submitted within two (2) days of delivery and must include clear photographic documentation of the product and its original packaging. Claims submitted outside this time frame or without sufficient documentation may be denied without refund or replacement. For any and all Shipping damage claims Refer to section 5 & 5.1, However we will try our best to assist in those claims Understanding those shipper claims are out of our control.
3. Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and non-returnable, except where required by applicable law:

Sale, clearance, or promotional items

Items designated as final sale at the time of purchase

International orders
4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within thirty (30) days of approval

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise determined by Catahoula Java Co.

Catahoula Java Co. reserves the right to issue store credit in lieu of a refund where permitted by law
5. Shipping Issues & Carrier Responsibility

Catahoula Java Co. is not responsible for damage caused by shipping carriers, delivery services, or third-party logistics providers

Packages marked as delivered by the carrier are considered fulfilled and complete
-
Lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery are not the responsibility of Catahoula Java Co.
5.1 Carrier Claims for Damage or Theft

All claims for damaged, lost, or stolen packages must be submitted directly to the shipping carrier by the customer

Catahoula Java Co. does not file or manage carrier claims on behalf of customers

For packages reported as stolen, carriers typically require a police report filed with the customer’s local law enforcement agency as part of the claims process

Failure to submit required documentation or comply with carrier claim procedures may result in denial of the claim, without refund or replacement
6. Charge-backs & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact Catahoula Java Co. directly to attempt resolution of any order issue before initiating a chargeback, payment dispute, or claim with a financial institution or payment processor.
The following protections apply:

Charge-backs are prohibited during the applicable return or refund eligibility period outlined in this policy

Initiating a charge-back without first utilizing the available return or refund process constitutes a material breach of this policy

Any refund or replacement approved under this policy immediately voids the customer’s right to pursue a charge-back for the same transaction

Catahoula Java Co. may submit this policy, delivery confirmation, tracking data, customer communications, and related evidence to contest disputes
Fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith charge-backs may result in account suspension, permanent refusal of service, cancellation of current or future orders, and recovery of associated fees or losses to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. Fraud Prevention & Right to Refuse Service
Catahoula Java Co. reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

Request additional documentation or verification

Verify tracking information and delivery confirmation

Deny returns, refunds, replacements, or claims in cases of suspected fraud or abuse

Refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict future purchases
8. International Customers – Duties, Taxes & Fees
Customers ordering from outside the United States are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), brokerage fees, and any other charges imposed by their local government or carrier.

International orders are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds

Catahoula Java Co. does not collect, control, or refund international duties or taxes

Failure to pay required duties or fees may result in delivery delays, refusal of delivery, or forfeiture of the shipment, without refund
8.1 U.S. Customers – Overseas Fulfillment & Tariffs
From time to time, Catahoula Java Co. may fulfill orders for U.S. customers using overseas manufacturers, suppliers, or fulfillment partners. In such cases:

Orders may be subject to U.S. government–imposed tariffs, customs duties, taxes, or import fees

All such tariffs, duties, taxes, or fees are the sole responsibility of the customer, regardless of whether they are charged at checkout or upon delivery

Catahoula Java Co. is not responsible for changes in tariff rates, trade policies, or government regulations enacted before or after an order is placed
Failure to pay applicable tariffs or import fees may result in delivery delays, refusal of delivery, or forfeiture of the shipment, without refund.
9. Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By completing a purchase with Catahoula Java Co., the customer expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

Compliance with this policy is required for eligibility for any return, refund, replacement, or claim
