Catahoula Java Co. – U.S. Shipping Policy

Effective Date: December 15, 2025


This U.S. Shipping Policy applies to orders shipped within the United States and is designed to clearly define shipping practices, responsibilities, and limitations. By placing an order with Catahoula Java Co., you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within [3–5] business days after payment is confirmed, excluding weekends and holidays.

Processing times may increase during peak sales periods, promotions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Orders may ship in multiple packages or from different fulfillment locations.

** Remember our Merchandise is not made until you order it, and our coffee items are not roasted and packaged until the order has been placed. We do this to ensure you coffee and tea is fresh upon arrival.

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

Catahoula Java Co. ships orders using third-party carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other reputable shipping providers.

Carrier selection, shipping method, and routing are determined at our discretion unless otherwise stated at checkout.

3. Delivery Confirmation

All shipments include carrier-provided tracking information.

An order is considered fulfilled and delivered once the carrier marks the package as Delivered.

Carrier delivery confirmation constitutes proof of delivery.

4. Shipping Damage

Catahoula Java Co. is not responsible for damage caused by shipping carriers once an order has left our possession.

4.1 Carrier Damage Claims

Claims for packages damaged in transit must be submitted directly to the shipping carrier by the customer.

Customers must retain all original packaging and damaged items for carrier inspection.

Failure to follow the carrier’s claims process may result in denial of the claim without refund or replacement.

5. Lost or Stolen Packages

Packages marked as Delivered by the carrier are not eligible for replacement or refund.

Catahoula Java Co. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.

5.1 Carrier Claims for Lost or Stolen Packages

Claims for lost or stolen packages must be filed directly with the shipping carrier.

Shipping carriers may require a police report filed with local law enforcement for stolen package claims.

Failure to provide required documentation may result in claim denial without refund or replacement.

6. Overseas Fulfillment & U.S. Tariffs

From time to time, orders placed by U.S. customers may be fulfilled using overseas manufacturers or fulfillment partners.

Such orders may be subject to U.S. government–imposed tariffs, customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

All tariffs, duties, taxes, and import fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Catahoula Java Co. is not responsible for delays, fees, or changes resulting from trade policies or government regulations.

Failure to pay applicable fees may result in delivery delays, refusal of delivery, or forfeiture of the shipment, without refund.

7. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping addresses at checkout.

Orders shipped to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer are not eligible for refund or replacement.

8. Shipping Delays

Delivery timelines provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Catahoula Java Co. is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, customs processing, labor disruptions, or other events beyond our control.

9. Right to Refuse Service

Catahoula Java Co. reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict shipping to any customer or address suspected of fraud, abuse, or policy violations.

10. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By completing a purchase with Catahoula Java Co., the customer acknowledges that this Shipping Policy is a binding part of the terms of sale and agrees to all conditions outlined herein.

This policy may be updated at any time without prior notice. The version in effect at the time of purchase governs the transaction.
